Education Outreach

The team provided much needed computer hardware and software to rural schools in St. Thomas in Jamaica. Lystra Primary & Infant School and Aeolus Valley All Age School are the first two beneficiaries of this project. They received tablets, computers, computer accessories and other student and teacher supplies. With the assistance of project partner Howard Hylton of Jamaica Air Express in the Bronx New York, the items valued at over $5000US were packed and shipped to Jamaica from the United States. Both teachers and students were appreciative and very excited for the learning opportunities ahead.

The Yallahs Baptist Church Adult Education Program is the latest beneficiary to receive computers and supplies donated by TELFA Inc.

Healthcare Outreach

The COVID-9 pandemic has affected some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Diabetic has been severely impacted largely because many of them lack the resources to purchase essential supplies such as glucose monitors. TELFA, Inc., is embarking on a project to provide Glucometers along with an ample number of strips and other well-needed related supplies to community health centers in rural areas to be distributed to elderly patients.

Our family is committed and excited to embark on this journey to continue the life-long passion of service to his community that was the hallmark of Lawrence L. Telfer’s life, and the inspiration for our work.
