According to the Ministry of Health, In 2017 diabetes was 2nd in the top 5 causes of death in Jamaica. Diabetes can lead to other illnesses such as hardening of the arteries which can lead to stroke and coronary heart disease, it can also cause blindness and kidney failure.

As a part of our mission TELFA Inc. is committed to providing supplies for patients whose only access is through the public health clinics in rural areas of Jamaica. We are working to provide glucometers and testing supplies for persons, especially senior citizens, who are financially unable to afford them.
